With 25 years of math teaching experience, 5 years of administrative leadership, and 19 years as a homeschooling mom of four, I’ve dedicated my life and career to helping people build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their potential. I founded Thrive Learning & Consulting to bring that experience beyond the classroom—supporting students, families, educators, leaders, and organizations through personalized tutoring, coaching, and consulting.
Experience That Makes a Difference
My career in education has given me the opportunity to serve in both the classroom and school leadership, working with students, families, teachers, and educational organizations. As both an educator and a homeschool parent, I also understand education from the parent’s perspective—the responsibility of making decisions about a child’s learning and finding the right support along the way. Those experiences have taught me that meaningful growth happens when people feel supported, challenged, and confident in their ability to succeed. Whether I’m helping a student work through a difficult math concept, supporting a family on their homeschool journey, coaching an individual toward a goal, or partnering with an organization, my approach is personal, practical, and focused on lasting growth.

Throughout my career—and in my own experiences as a parent—I’ve seen the difference that confidence, encouragement, and the right guidance can make. Thrive was created to provide that kind of personalized support, whether it’s helping a student discover what they’re capable of, guiding a family through an educational journey, encouraging someone toward personal growth, or helping a leader or organization move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
